Easy and tasty Sindhi biryani recipe by cook yumz || Chicken sindhi biry...



Hi today we are going to cook sindhi biryani with home available ingrediants. It is super easy biryani and tasty as well. It is a very special recipe of Sindh Pakistan and famous around the world. So please note down ingredients

Ingredients:

Chicken                                      1/2kg
Chawal/ rice                                 800g
Aloo/potato                                 200 g
tamater/tomato                            3 medium
podina/ mint                              10 to 15 leaves
Payaz/Onion                             3 medium
Hari mirch/green chilli                     3
Dhaniya/ green coriandor              100g
Namak/salt                                    1 tbsp
Mirch/red chilli                              1 tbsp
Haldi/ turmeric                               1tbsp
garam masala                                  1tbsp
adrak/ginger                                    1tbsp
dahi/yogurt                                      100ml
zeer/cumin seeds                             1 1/2tbsp
sokha dhaniya/cumin seeds            1 1/2tbsp
tez pat/ bay leave                               1
badiyan ka phool/star anise               1
bhari elaichi/ black cardamon           1
long/ cloves                                       4 to 5
daar cheeni/cinnamon                          2 pcs
kali mirch/ black paper                     8 to 10
Hari elachi/ green cardamom              4
Lemo/ Lemon                                   2
Pani/ water                                      6 cups
Food color                                      1 tsp
Oil                                                    200ml


Method:
Soak rice for 30 minutes
fry onion until gets brown and take half of it out
now add chicken, ginger and garlic in it and fry for 5 minutes until chicken turns golden
Keep stirring and now add all the spices in it.
add yogurt and cook for 5 minutes now add potatoes and keep on low flame until potatoes cook well
Now add lemon juice, dried plum in it.
Make sure chicken is well cooked now put a layer of green coriandor, chillies and mint on it and keep on low flame don't stirr after adding layer.

On another pot take 4 glass water and bring it to boil and add 4 tbsp of salt in it. Now add soaked rice in it and cook until rice gets boiled now strain it and first add a layer of boil rice then add chicken mixture on it and then again add rice 
In the end add green coriandor and food color and put it on dum for 10 minutes.
Your sindhi biryani is ready to serve.
