Hi today we are going to cook halwa kaddu recipe which is very tasty and healthy as well. It is rich source of vitamin A, C, E and K. In this video we will teach you how to cook it at home in easy way. So lets start please note down ingredients:
Halwa kaddu/ Pumpkin 1 1/2kg
Payaz/ onion 250g
Tamatar/ tomatoes 250g
Adrak/ ginger 1 tbsp
Lehsan/garlic 1 tbsp
Hari mirch/green chilli 3
Dhaniya/ green coriander for garnish
Namak/ salt 1tbsp
Mirch/red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Haldi/ turmeric 1 tbsp
kali mirch/ black paper 1 tbsp
Method:
- Peel off and remove pumpkin seeds
- Cut all vegies
- Heat up oil
- Add onion and fry until turns golden
- Now add spices
- fry for 2 minutes and add tomatoes
- Keep on low flame until tomatoes get soft
- now smash tomatoes with spoon add a cup of water and pumpkin in it
- cook on low to medium flame until pumpkin get soften
- After 30 minutes open cap and fry pumpkin again stirr well
- now add black paper
- garnish with red chilli and green coriendor
