Halwa kaddu recipe by cook yumz || Easy pumpkin halwa kaddu recipe



Hi today we are going to cook halwa kaddu recipe which is very tasty and healthy as well. It is rich source of vitamin A, C, E and K. In this video we will teach you how to cook it at home in easy way. So lets start please note down ingredients:

 Halwa kaddu/ Pumpkin 1 1/2kg 

Payaz/ onion 250g 

Tamatar/ tomatoes 250g

 Adrak/ ginger 1 tbsp 

Lehsan/garlic 1 tbsp

 Hari mirch/green chilli 3

 Dhaniya/ green coriander for garnish

 Namak/ salt 1tbsp 

Mirch/red chilli powder 1 tbsp 

Haldi/ turmeric 1 tbsp

 kali mirch/ black paper 1 tbsp 



Method:

  • Peel off and remove pumpkin seeds
  • Cut all vegies
  • Heat up oil
  • Add onion and fry until turns golden
  • Now add spices
  • fry for 2 minutes and add tomatoes
  • Keep on low flame until tomatoes get soft
  • now smash tomatoes with spoon add a cup of water and pumpkin in it
  • cook on low to medium flame until pumpkin get soften
  • After 30 minutes open cap and fry pumpkin again stirr well
  • now add black paper
  • garnish with red chilli and green coriendor
